teaching baby to sit
How can I teach my baby to sit? Do you have any equipment that can teach
my baby how to sit? No mum, no equipment can teach your baby to sit. A
baby sitting upright is a function of neck control and their readiness.
Sitting up is a developmental milestone that your baby will achieve
between 4-7 months. Some baby gear are tailored towards encouraging
babies to sit but will not teach him or her to. You don't teach a baby
to cry or open their mouths or even grow teeth. These are natural
occurences. Please do not make a baby who doesn't have neck control try to
sit. Leave that baby alone. He or she will sit when they are ready. If
you want them in an upright position, you can prop up with pillows, you
can also try baby bouncers, swings or rockers.
